Gordon…this whole thing absolutely sickens me to the core. It’s not bad enough to watch the photos of the dead and dying sea life, but when they started talking about the benzene fumes coming onshore, you knew it was worse than ‘they’ were letting on. And to think, I was just down in Naples, FL, with my kids in April. It was such a wonderful vacation and I wanted very much to move down there…to my father’s empty winter home…permanently. We swam in the Gulf…and watched “with much joy”, the dolphins, pelicans, etc…only to know NOW that it was most likely the last time. How could they let this happen? Brings such a sadness to my heart that you just cannot imagine. (tears running down my face…again)

    Reminds me of a melody…

    shit nancy.

and to think how many others have similar stories.

    many LIVING on the gulf.

hopefully this catastrophe will bring about the change so it won’t happen again.
